Before you place your order

Pre-Contract Information Form

This form gathers in one place everything you need to know before completing an order: what you are buying, what you will pay, how the product reaches you, and what to do if you change your mind. It is prepared under Articles 5 and 6 of the Turkish Distance Contracts Regulation.

What this form covers

This form exists to inform you before a distance sales contract is formed. It sets out the key characteristics of the product, the total price including all taxes, the delivery cost, the payment and delivery terms, your right of withdrawal, the cases in which that right does not apply, how a return is made and the ways you can bring a complaint.

A single confirmation at the payment step covers two documents: you declare that you have read and been informed by this Pre-Contract Information Form, and that you accept the Distance Sales Contract. The contract formed after your confirmation carries the same information as this form; if a difference appears between the two texts, the provision that favours the consumer applies.

The information here is valid as it stands at the moment you place your order. Products, prices and shipping terms may be updated over time; the values that bind you are the ones shown in your order summary.

The Turkish text of this form prevails; the English text is a translation provided for information. If the two texts differ, the Turkish text applies. Turkish law governs the relationship.

Seller information

The seller's trade name, full address, tax details and contact channels appear in the seller information box on this page. The legal entity named there is your counterparty in the order relationship.

You can send any request about your order, delivery, return or withdrawal to the e-mail address written in the seller information box on this page and in the Write to us link on the site. You may write in Turkish or in English.

Key characteristics of the product

What we sell are physical board games: tangible products printed in Turkish and shipped to you in their box. The name, the category, the player count, the average playing time, the difficulty level and the printed language of each product are shown on that product's page. The box contents section on the product page states what comes out of the box.

The images on a product page are there to present the product. Small differences in tone may occur because of printing and materials; every component listed in the box contents section comes in the box. If you are unsure about the characteristics of a product, you can ask us by e-mail before ordering and we will answer in writing.

Total price, taxes and delivery cost

The prices shown on the product page, in the basket and on the payment screen are in Turkish lira and include all taxes.

The shipping charge is shown as a separate line in the basket and on the payment screen. If your basket total is above the amount shown on that same screen as the free shipping threshold, no shipping charge is taken; if it is below the threshold, the shipping charge written on the same screen is added to the grand total. The grand total you see before confirming payment is the final amount you will pay for the product and its delivery.

Prices may change over time. The price that applies to you is the one recorded in your order summary at the moment you place the order; once the order is created, that amount stays fixed.

Payment

Payment is made by credit card or debit card. Your card details are entered directly on the payment institution's own 3D Secure screen and stay there; NERDWIZ receives only the confirmation of the payment, the order number and the amount. Your card details are held by us at no stage.

Where a product offers instalments, the number of instalments is shown on the product page and at the payment step. An instalment plan is set up with the bank that issued your card, and the number of instalments is chosen on the same screen where you enter your card details. If your bank applies a maturity difference to instalments, you see that difference and the instalment total on that screen before you confirm the payment; the amount you pay us for the product and its delivery is the amount written in your order summary.

Once your payment is confirmed, your order is created and your order number is shown on the screen. Your order summary and this form as it stood at the time of the order are sent to the e-mail address you gave during checkout, on a durable medium.

If the payment is not confirmed, no order is created, no contract is formed and no amount is collected from your card. Where your bank has placed an authorisation hold, the amount is released shortly afterwards according to your bank's own process.

Delivery

Your order is shipped by carrier to the delivery address you gave during checkout. Shipments leave from an Amazon warehouse, so the product reaches you inside an Amazon box.

Delivery is made within the committed period from the date your order reaches us, and within thirty days at the latest. For products sold through a pre-order campaign, the delivery period is shown separately on the campaign page; you accept that period when you place the order, and the rights described in the pre-order section of this form apply in full.

A correct and complete delivery address matters. If a shipment comes back to us because the address was incomplete or wrong, we contact you at the e-mail address and the telephone number you gave during checkout, correct the address with you and send the shipment again; no additional charge is asked from you for that second shipment. When you receive the parcel, check the box for visible damage. If there is damage, have the carrier staff record it and write to us the same day; we will handle the outcome with you.

If delivery cannot be made within the committed period, you may terminate the contract. In that case the full amount you paid is refunded within fourteen days from the date your termination notice reaches us.

Products sold through a pre-order campaign

Some board games in the catalogue are sold through a pre-order campaign. For these products you pay in advance for one specific board game at one specific price. For open campaigns the campaign page shows the target amount, the amount collected so far and the days remaining; the planned arrival period of the product is written on the same page.

If the target amount is reached, production starts and the product is shipped in the planned arrival period shown on the campaign page. That period may be longer than thirty days; by placing a pre-order you accept the delivery period written on the campaign page. If that period changes, you are informed by e-mail.

If delivery cannot be made within the committed period, you may terminate the contract; the full amount you paid is refunded within fourteen days from the date your termination notice reaches us. This right applies to a pre-order just as it applies to a product held in stock.

If the target amount is not reached, the campaign closes and the full amount you paid is refunded by the same means you used to pay. You do not need to make a separate request; the refund is made within fourteen days from the date the campaign closes. Your right of withdrawal applies to a pre-order in the same way: you may withdraw during the period after the contract is formed and before the product is delivered to you, and within fourteen days after delivery.

Right of withdrawal

You may withdraw from the contract within fourteen days from the date you receive the product, without giving any reason and without paying any penalty. You may also exercise your right of withdrawal during the period after the contract is formed and before the product is delivered to you. If you bought more than one product in a single order, the fourteen-day period starts on the day you receive the last product.

It is enough to send your withdrawal notice, before the period ends, to the e-mail address written in the seller information box on this page. State your name, your order number, the products you wish to return and your decision to withdraw. We confirm in writing that your notice has reached us.

During the withdrawal period you may handle and examine the product and see how it works. You are not liable for changes or deterioration that occur when you use the product in line with its normal operation, its technical specifications and its instructions for use.

Model withdrawal form

You may also give notice of your decision by filling in the model withdrawal form annexed to the Distance Contracts Regulation. The form carries the following information: the seller's trade name, full address and e-mail address; the date the order was placed and the date the product was received; the consumer's name, surname and address; the order number; the name and quantity of the product to be returned; a statement giving notice that the contract is withdrawn from; the consumer's signature, where the notice is sent on paper; and the date the notice is drawn up. You can take the seller's details from the seller information box on this page.

Using this form is optional. A clear statement giving notice of your decision to withdraw has the same effect; a few lines sent by e-mail are enough. Whichever way you choose, your notice must reach us before the fourteen-day period ends.

Cases where the right of withdrawal does not apply

The legislation sets limits on the right of withdrawal for certain types of product. Of the cases listed in Article 15 of the Distance Contracts Regulation, the ones that may be relevant to board games are: goods prepared in line with the consumer's own requests or personal needs; goods that may perish quickly or pass their expiry date; goods whose protective elements such as packaging, tape, seal or wrapping have been opened after delivery and whose return is unsuitable for health and hygiene reasons; goods that mix with other products after delivery and by their nature cannot be separated; and books, digital content and computer consumables supplied in a tangible medium where protective elements such as packaging, tape, seal or wrapping have been opened.

The other cases listed in that article are not related to board games and are therefore not repeated here; the full text of the article is in the Regulation as published in the Official Gazette.

Your fourteen-day right of withdrawal applies to the board games in the catalogue. You send the product back with its box and its components; you are not liable for changes arising from use in line with the product's normal operation, its technical specifications and its instructions for use. Where a specific limit applies to a product, it is written on that product's page before you order.

How a return is made and who bears its cost

When we receive your withdrawal notice we tell you the return address in writing. Send the product back within ten days from the date you sent your notice.

The cost of the return shipment belongs to the seller. Whichever carrier you send it with, no charge is asked from you for the return cost.

Send the product with its box, all its components, the rulebook and any extra materials. You may also add a printout of the invoice; it is not required for the return. To protect the product in transit, place the original box inside an outer carton.

The full amount you paid, including delivery costs, is refunded within fourteen days from the date your withdrawal notice reaches us, by the same means you used to pay. For card payments, the time it takes to appear in your account depends on your bank's own process.

Defective products and missing components

If the product you receive has a missing component, a printing fault or a damaged part, you hold the elective rights in Article 11 of Law No. 6502 on Consumer Protection: withdrawing from the contract, asking for a price reduction, asking for free repair, or asking for replacement with a non-defective equivalent. The choice among them is yours.

A request for free repair or for replacement with a non-defective equivalent is fulfilled within thirty working days at the latest from the date your request reaches us. For these two rights no cost is asked from you, including carriage, labour and parts. You may bring the same requests against the manufacturer and the importer of the product as well.

Tell us about the situation by e-mail. There is no time limit for that notice; liability for a defective product is subject to a two-year limitation period from the date of delivery, and you may apply within that period. Adding your order number and a few photographs showing the situation speeds up the process.

These rights are separate from your right of withdrawal and remain available after the fourteen-day withdrawal period has passed.

Your personal data

To take, prepare and ship your order and to reach you, we process your name and surname, e-mail address, telephone number and delivery address (province, district, full address, postal code). When you order as a member, an account record is also kept; when you order as a guest, the same information is likewise kept with your order in our records. Your card details stay with the payment institution.

This data is processed to the extent required to fulfil the order and to meet statutory retention obligations. The details are in the privacy notice on the site.

News and promotional e-mails are sent only if you gave your explicit consent through a separate checkbox during membership. You may withdraw that consent at any time; withdrawing it leaves your orders and your rights unaffected.

Complaints and how to apply

If you have a problem with your order, delivery, return or a defect, write to us first. We review and answer every request that reaches the e-mail address written in the seller information box on this page and in the Write to us link on the site.

If no solution is found, you may take your dispute to a consumer arbitration committee or to a consumer court. Under Article 68 of Law No. 6502, for disputes below the monetary threshold you must first apply to the consumer arbitration committee of your place of residence or of the place where the transaction was made; that application is a condition for bringing a court case. Disputes above the threshold are heard by the consumer court. The monetary thresholds are set again each year by the Ministry of Trade and published on the Ministry's website.

You can apply to the arbitration committee through the Consumer Information System on e-Devlet, or in person or by post to the relevant committee. The application is free of charge.

Confirming and keeping this form

A single confirmation at the payment step covers two documents: you declare that you have read and been informed by this Pre-Contract Information Form, and that you accept the Distance Sales Contract. Your confirmation is recorded together with the moment your order is created.

When you press the confirmation button at the payment step, you place the order and come under an obligation to pay.

Your order summary and this form as it stood at the time of the order are sent to your e-mail address. If you are a member, you can see your orders from the orders page in your account, on any device. If you ordered as a guest, your order is recorded with us as well; the copy kept in your browser is only for quick access. You can also ask us for a copy by writing to us with your order number.
